Summary
The publicity and public awareness, especially among special population groups such as policy makers and stakeholders are expected to be activated for strengthening environmental management and natural resources in a way that leads to sustainability. The main objective is to understand the significance of these scarce resources and the ability to bring benefits both to improve the quality of life at the intervention areas and their economies. Obtaining an understanding that there is not a dilemma between economic development and environmental protection, would lead to better management of resources. This dilemma is artificial and it is possible that mutual respect can lead to the development of both.
